The brown sock is Knitty's Monkey, or rather the stitch pattern from that sock. I knit it toe-up, as usual. Wool is the luscious Sweet Georgia superwash merino "Coffeebean".
The other one is the same slip-stitch fake cable I described in an earlier post, also knit toe up. The wool is Lorna's Laces Sock "Gold Hill".
I think I was pretty successful in cropping out almost all bits of unsightly pasty white leg, which is not easy this time of year!
And lastly we have the sole of the LL's sock, just because I like the staggered stripes.

Aren't the Monkey socks so much fun! I just finished my pair last week and now my family wants some!
I have the monkey socks on my list to knit some day. They look like a great pattern.
One of my local greyhound groups is holding a fundraiser in August with a silent auction and I thought it would be great to knit some greyhound themed items. I am looking for a chart to do this with and came across your blog. Do you know any sources for this type of chart. I could knit it in colourwork or with texture but the chart is alluding me.
Thanks for your help.
