Felted Clogs

Pre-felting:

Post-felting:

Pattern: Fiber Trends Felted Clogs
Wool: 100purewool merino, two strands held together

I used about 1.5 hanks of the main colour and almost an entire hank for the soles. This is a fun pattern to knit, and fast too. I knit each slipper in an evening.

Lovely clogs. I've got this pattern but I haven't knitted any yet. Hope mine turn out as nice as yours :-)

That is the nicest pair of felt clogs I've seen yet! You did a great job.

I'm planning on making more for Xmas presents. Thanks for your kind comments.

I like them! I saw some suede bottoms that you can sew onto the felted slippers. Let me know if you want it.

I made two more pairs, one I gave to my mom for her birthday (she put craft paint on the bottoms of hers becuase they were too slippery), the other pair is on stand-by to be a Xmas present, but I don't know for whom just yet. I have photos saved *somewhere*....

Val's Mom says:

I love my slippers especially on these cooler than normal early mornings in Mexico.

The wonderful shawl you knit for me has had many people asking where they could get one.

A special, many talented daughter is a gift!!
